Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the satellite meeting of the 63rd Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry to be held in the charming town of Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated close to the border between the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. The topic of the symposium is Electromembrane Processes and Materials.
This event offers a unique networking opportunity for scientists active in this important field of research and industrial applications. The relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful historical town will stimulate an intensive exchange of information on the current perspectives and challenges of this special class of membrane processes not only during the scientific program, but also during the informal discussions outside the conference rooms. The main aim of this event is to bring together experts active in various disciplines of this research field and thus to promote a discussion of the challenges and solutions from various viewpoints. In my opinion, this is a very important aspect of successful research on these processes, resulting not only in advances in understanding, but also in improvements to existing practical applications and the development of new ones. I wish all of us an interesting and successful meeting.
